To the west of Lankhmar continent and the Land of the Eight Cities is the Outer Sea. It is a great ocean known for it’s sea monsters, and is usually only traveled on by ships staying close to the coasts.

Only a legend to most of Nehwon, Rime Isle exists far north in the Outer Sea. It is home to stoic, atheist farmers, traders, and fishermen. It’s southern port, Salthaven, is a crossroads to other dimensions, where all manner of exotic ships can be found in it’s harbor.

The river Hlal runs north from the Lakes of Pleea in the Mountains of Hunger to the Inner Sea. Lankhmar sits on it’s east bank and uses it as a port.
