The Bones of the Old Ones is a mountain chain that lies north of the Mountain of the Giants. It is nearest to the western shore, and lies on the northeast of the Cold Waste.

The Claws

The Claws are a collection of peninsulas jutting out from the western coast of the Land of the Eight Cities. They point to Rime Isle, which lies west of The Claws in the Outer Sea.

The latitude of The Claws are a four days swift broad reach north from Simorgya.

The Cold Waste lies at the foothills of the Mountains of Giants north of the forested lands of the Eight Cities. It is home to tribes of northern barbarians.

Curtain Wall

Stories:
When the Sea-King's Away[?]

A lonely peninsula stretches southwestward from the forested-lands of the Eight-Cities near Ool Hrusp. The furthest stretches of it become the thinest curtain of rock-cliff separating the Outer Sea from the Inner Sea.

It towers high above both seas and is three feet narrow or less along great stretches. The Outer Sea has undercut it in large areas. Closer to Ool Hrusp the peninsula is covered with grassland and stunted trees. Along the curtain wall, however, it is barest rock.

When Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser are escaping the Sea-King’s Domain in the story When the Sea-King’s Away, great towering waves coming in from the Outer Sea crash into the Curtain Wall. The Tsunami collapses a half-mile of the Curtain Wall opening up a new passage between both seas.

Dragon Rocks

The Dragon Rocks lie in the Inner Sea, and are inhabited by sea monsters that like to eat rats.

Distance:
The Dragon Rocks are a day’s sail south of Kvarch Nar, and are three day’s sail north of Lankhmar.

Across the Eastern Sea from the continent of Lankhmar and south of the Mingol-inhabited steppes are the Eastern Lands. Much of it is unknown, or is merely legend.

Eastern Sea

The Circle Curse

The Eastern Sea lies between Lankhmar continent to the west and the Eastern Lands to the east. Not many ships sail it’s waters as the Sunken Land blocks exit to the north, and strong equatorial currents make the waters unnavigable to the south.
