The new Dr Who RPG

A new Doctor Who RPG is scheduled to be released in October 2009 by Cubicle 7.  HeroPress has the early scoop on the new game.

Being the fanboy that I am, I already own the previous two RPGs, the FASA box set, and the Time Lord paperback.

I ran a one-shot using the Time Lord system.  In this system the players play themselves as the characters.  As such, I had all the PCs enter the TARDIS dressed and equipped as they were as players.  I still have a fun memory of one of the PCs running around the corridors of a spaceship in shorts and flip-flops firing off rounds with a machinegun at Daleks.  Can you imagine!?
